TRAIN Expansion Seminar - Advancing Your TRAIN Knowledge: Telehealth with Intellectually Disabled Adults

This 60-minute advanced topic seminar will advance your knowledge of TRAIN through learning about the use of telehealth with intellectually disabled adults. This live session will cover the following:
– Define ‘intellectual disability’ and its diagnostic criteria.
– Discuss historically abusive treatments used with intellectually disabled people.
– Describe ways to adapt trauma-focused and neuroaffirming assessment and therapy techniques via telehealth to meet the needs of intellectually disabled adults.
