6th Annual Philadelphia Autism Project Conference: Rethinking, Reimagining, Resilience


Sessions held every day from 9AM – 10:30AM, 11:30AM – 1PM & 2PM – 3:30PM

The 6th Annual Philadelphia Autism Project Conference: Rethinking, Reimagining, Resilience will be held virtually on Wednesday, November 17th -Friday, November 19th, 2021. The Philadelphia Autism Project is excited to bring together members of the Philadelphia community to share and highlight information and resources, learn about community initiatives and discuss experiences in supporting individuals on the autism spectrum.


Wednesday: Morénike Giwa, PhD(c), MA
Morénike will use a strengths-based perspective to examine and discuss characteristics of the Autistic community. She will share her story and speak to her experiences as an Autistic individual, a woman of color, and the parent of a child on the Spectrum.

Thursday: Family Panel of Experiences
Learn about the varied experiences of parents and caregivers in supporting their family member on the autism spectrum.

Friday: Representative Jessica Benham State Representative Jessica Benham will discuss her experiences as the first openly Autistic state legislator in Pennsylvania
