PEAL and Bekah Nesbitt from TechOWL present Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) Across Transition.

This virtual session offers tips and tricks for keeping up with augmentative and alternative communication during job exploration, funding changes and overall graduation-based transitions.

Participants will learn to: identify primary funding changes between school-based devices and post-graduate assistive technology, implement best practice methods across AAC integration within daily life and modeling of device use, understand the basics of AAC, recognize the importance of AAC for vocations and much more.

The PEAL Center is a one-stop-resource for disability information and referral in Pennsylvania for parents, self-advocates, and professionals. PEAL provides assistance to families of children with disabilities, educators, and others who work with them.
