America 250 Patriot Rededication Ceremony
Come enjoy live period music, inspiring patriotic words, delicious local food, and fascinating history!
The public is cordially invited to Benders Lutheran Church to rededicate a Daughters of the American Revolution monument honoring 22 local men who fought in the American Revolution.
A reception will follow celebrating America 250, the Biglerville Historical and Preservation Society’s 30th anniversary, and Benders Evangelical Lutheran Church’s 245th anniversary. Pastor Ryan will offer a recreation of a 1781 church service directly following the reception. Descendants of these patriots are invited to be honored as well.
Besides honoring descendants of these 22 patriots who helped the cause of the American Revolution, we will enjoy an uplifting community event bringing us together to celebrate Adams County residents who made great sacrifices to give us the freedoms we enjoy today.
