Kristin M. Ellis, MS, CC-SLP/L, established her private practice, Time 2 Talk Therapy Services, LLC, in July of 2020 out of a growing need for speech/language services in her surrounding area. Time 2 Talk therapy services believes that “Everyone Deserves a Voice!” Kristin is also the Director of the Speech and Language Therapy Department with Behavioral Health Associates (BHA) located in Carbon County, PA. Additionally, Kristin is the AAC Specialist for all BHA schools.

This presentation will focus on the live and raw elements of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). What is AAC? What does it look like? What are the myths that are out there? See AAC live in action and see and hear how an SLP should be supporting an AAC user and encouraging their independence. There will also be time for a Q and A.
