Art of Friendship: Neurodiversity Webinar: Emotional G.P.S.: Guiding Children From Frustration, Anger, and Meltdowns Toward Self-Regulation

Hosted by the Art of Friendship.

Free virtual Seminar for parents and caregivers of neurodiverse kids!

Meltdowns are usually caused by weak assertiveness, problem-solving, and coping skills. Well-intentioned caregivers can accidentally escalate situations by using a mismatched support strategy with certain levels of frustration.

Attendees will discover a framework to understand four levels of frustration including a compassionate meltdown safety plan. Additionally, you’ll learn proactive, preventative coping language to help your child keep calm and decrease the frequency and intensity of tantrums.

CEC’s are not available for this event. Free of charge but by registration/RSVP only.

Presenter Mike Fogel is a board-certified art therapist and licensed professional counselor who treats a wide range of childhood emotional-behavioral challenges. Since 1995, Mike cultivated a specialty treating neuro-diverse children with autism, ADHD, and learning differences.
