Milestone HCQU West: C.A.R.E. Human Service Model

Hosted by the Milestone Health Care Quality West (HCQU).

For years, human services have used positive approaches and person-centered planning.  This training introduces a new model based on Community, Autonomy, Relationships, and Ego.

Shawn McGill is the founder and CEO of Shawn McGill Consulting, Inc., supporting neurodiverse individuals, especially underserved and those with “clinical complexities.”

Milestone is a community-based nonprofit organization that provides a continuum of support, treatment, and residential and vocational services to individuals with behavioral health challenges, substance use disorders, and developmental disabilities. The Milestone Health Care Quality Units serve 18 western Pennsylvania counties by providing training to developmental disability providers, thus setting the standard for care.
