Cultural Gumbo: music, food, & art festival

Let’s chase away the winter blues and celebrate the Mardi Gras season with an evening of music, art, food, and community!

Born out of an event supporting New Orleans’ musicians after Hurricane Katrina, the Cultural Gumbo helps creatives and grassroots projects thrive while raising funds for the shared community space: the Food + Energy Hub in Millvale.

Mark your calendar for Friday February 24 as New Sun Rising and Sprezzatura present the Cultural Gumbo, including a New Orleans inspired menu from Sprezzatura, live music on the Café and Purple Onion Stages, and some of Pittsburgh’s best visual artists including Marlon Gist, JY Originals, and screen printing with Quaishawn Whitlock. Support local culture and help them continue to grow the Hub as a place to create, connect, and celebrate together.

Advance tickets are now available for a discount ($20). Food, drinks, and art will be available for purchase during the event.
