The Symposium is a professional development opportunity for providers serving children and youth with special health care needs (CYSHCN).
About this event
Thank you for your interest in the Bureau of Family Health Children and Youth with Special Health Care Needs (CYSHCN) Symposium 2022. This event is intended to provide education and support for any Pennsylvania based provider of supportive services to CYSHCN. Topics will focus on improving system function for CYSHCN and will offer opportunities for networking with other professionals, learning from panels of experts, and resource sharing.
The Symposium will be held in-person and virtually. The event is scheduled for Monday, June 27, 2022 at the Best Western Premier, Harrisburg. In-person registration will be from 8:30am to 9:00am. The event will begin at 9:00am and conclude at 3:30pm. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
Continuing Education Credits (CEUs) will be available for a number of disciplines (including CMEs, NASW, ACT 48 & 58, EMS, CHES and CPH) at no cost. Up to 4.5 CEUs may be available pending review by accrediting bodies.
Who should attend?
The Symposium is open to any provider (physical health, mental health, specialized care, community-based services, etc.) that works with or supports children and youth with special heath care needs (CYSHCN).
