The Center for Independent Living of Central PA (CILCP) is now accepting registrations for a conference to be held in Hershey, PA on April 21 and 22 of 2023! You are invited to apply to attend this one-time event. If you are accepted you will receive an acceptance letter within a few days.
The conference will begin on Friday, April 21 and will include a detailed presentation of your choice of “Learning to Listen and Being Person Driven” (1:00 – 4:00 PM), “Resume Writing and Other Job Building Skills” (1:00 – 4:00 PM), “Cultural Competency” (1:00 – 3:00 PM), “Sensory Disabilities” (3:00 – 4:00 PM), and “Wellness, Mindfulness, Intro to Yoga” (3:00 – 4:30 PM). You are welcome to attend both days. You do not have to attend Friday, April 21 to participate on Saturday, April 22.
Beginning at 5:30 PM on April 21 join a reception that will include appetizers, a meat carving station, an array of delicious desserts, a cash-bar and entertainment.
If you are attending the conference on April 22 the CILCP will pay for an overnight room at the Hershey Lodge on April 21, (register early as there are only 150 available). Check-in time is 4:00 PM.
On Saturday, April 22 the conference will begin with registration at 8:00 AM with a continental breakfast available. Learning opportunities for the day will include such topics as:
Saturday will also include a sit-down banquet lunch with speakers and door prizes.
