Families CCAN Monthly Resource Meeting

A valuable opportunity to network with other families and learn every month

Monthly Resource Meetings bring together individuals with disabilities and their families to learn from experts about key topics, new ideas, helpful programs and resources. Led by experts in their respective fields, Monthly Resource Meetings are an opportunity to learn in-depth information about a different topic every month. Past topics have included:

  • Assistive and Augmentative Communication

  • Transitioning from High School to Adult Services

  • Innovative Housing Solutions for People with Autism

  • Using Everyday Smart Home Technology to Build Independence

Just as importantly, Monthly Resource Meetings offer a valuable opportunity to network with other families.

Meet and connect with other families like yours

After hosting more than 50 Monthly Resource meetings, Families CCAN knows they offer not only education and resources from experts in disability-related fields, but also an opportunity for families to meet, connect and be informed. Monthly Resource Meetings expose families to new ideas and programs, helpful resources, and new thinking about disability.

Resource meetings are always free, and are held via Zoom!
