Encouraging Meaningful Community and Social Inclusion (VTT)

  • People who are included in home, community, work, and social environments have a greater opportunity to have an increased quality of life and a better sense of self-worth. However; many people we support may not have meaningful opportunities to be included in these settings. We, as supporters, need to do better to encourage community and social inclusion. This training will explore this concept further while addressing best practices and strategies to include individuals in meaningful environments and settings.
