Achieva Family Trust will host its 5th Annual Future Planning Conference on Wednesday, November 5. This will be a hybrid event, with the in-person portion being held at the Allegheny Intermediate Unit in Homestead, PA.

This year’s theme will focus on future planning in uncertain times. Topics will include maintaining government benefits while working, special needs trusts and ABLE Accounts and Medicaid Waivers.

The keynote speaker this year is David Goldfarb, Senior Director, Strategic Health Resource Center, Jewish Federations of North America. He will give an update on vital public policy issues such as Medicaid and Social Security, as they relate to services for people with disabilities. There will also be a lunchtime panel discussing public policy issues at the state level.
