Harry Potter virtual discussion group for ages 8 – 18. They encourage creative and critical thinking through the world of Harry Potter!
Join Grey Havens Philosophy and the international community of participants online every Saturday at 10:00 a.m. (Mountain Time, North America) as we discuss the big ideas inspired by the world of Harry Potter! Open to ages 8 – 18.
They will discuss a different Potter-themed topic each week. Accio fun!
Their discussions provide a space for kids and teens to talk and think together in critical, collaborative, creative, and caring ways. You don’t need to be an expert in Harry Potter or philosophy. All they ask is that you listen and respect others’ points of view. They are LGBTQ+ friendly and encourage a diversity of experiences, perspectives, and ideas in their discussions.
Registration is free, but donations are appreciated to keep the programming accessible to all. To protect everyone’s privacy and well-being online, registration prior to the event is required. They practice all possible safety measures to prevent Death Eaters and Dementors from joining them on the Muggle platform, Zoom!
Everyone in the household is welcome to take part (especially the house-elves, and even the attic ghouls). Please register for the number of devices you will be using rather than for the number of people from your household who will be attending.
They will send you a Zoom link, meeting ID, and the magical password after you register.
