ASERT does not offer crisis services through our Resource Center. If you or someone you love is experiencing mental health distress or thoughts of suicide please call or text 988 for support.
HEROES September and October Meetings
Support group for parents with children with disabilities. Kid-friendly meeting with activities for the children.
September 28, 6 PM
- Speaker: Tammy Hawk (Community Advocate, FWHS)
- Topic: The ins and outs of special education and parent’s rights.
October 26, 6 PM
- Speaker: Amy Philhower, LCSW/Co-Owner of Sunrise Collaborative LLC.
- Topic: How to manage your child’s social anxiety. (Trigger awareness, skill building, and refocusing your child for more positive outcomes.)
