This webinar will discuss how infections occur and the ways to prevent them from occurring in the first place. In some situations, infections can trigger a life-threatening condition called sepsis to occur. This is a fast-spreading immune response that causes widespread inflammation in the body that damages tissues and organs and can lead to death. Attending this training will help you to be able to identify some of the early signs and symptoms, as well as common risk factors, associated with infection and sepsis.
Presenter: Anne Seyffert, RN, CDDN; Community Based Nurse
