About this event

Workshop dates: The same class will take place on three different days – Thursdays May 20, June 17 and 24, 2021 at 6:00pm EST.

In this live workshop with the Queens Botanical Garden they’ll learn all about sprouting plants and propagating them – making new plants out of ones that already exist as well as beans and vegetables!

They’re going to plant propagated plants, explore the plants that are hiding in the kitchens, look for ways to grow some of them, and set up a growing chamber.

Additionally, if you’re in the neighborhood, you can pick up a growing kit as well as a rooted houseplant from their librarian’s home gardens to plant. (while supplies last).

Please note that these workshops won’t be recorded but the same workshop will take place on the three different dates mentioned above.
