Milestone HCQU West: The Fatal Five

Hosted by the Milestone Health Care Quality West (HCQU).

There are five top health concerns that are the leading causes of often PREVENTABLE death in people with intellectual disabilities. Through this training, you will look at these five conditions, and what you, as supporters, can do to reduce risk and possibly save lives.

Milestone is a community-based nonprofit organization that provides a continuum of support, treatment, and residential and vocational services to individuals with behavioral health challenges, substance use disorders, and developmental disabilities. The Milestone Health Care Quality Units serve 18 western Pennsylvania counties by providing training to developmental disability providers, thus setting the standard for care.
