Milestone HCQU West: Road to Resilience - Supporting Our Self-Advocates Through Trauma

Hosted by the Milestone Health Care Quality West (HCQU).

The goal of this training is to use trauma informed approaches to best support our self-advocates through their trauma history. You will do this by learning what trauma might look like, how trauma can affect our individuals and how to use a trauma informed approach to best support our self-advocates.

Milestone is a community-based nonprofit organization that provides a continuum of support, treatment, and residential and vocational services to individuals with behavioral health challenges, substance use disorders, and developmental disabilities. The Milestone Health Care Quality Units serve 18 western Pennsylvania counties by providing training to developmental disability providers, thus setting the standard for care.
