Webinar: ODP Regulation Update Trainings

The Office of Developmental Programs (ODP) is pleased to announce that it is releasing a number of trainings that help to explain updates to regulations affecting individuals with intellectual disabilities or autism.

The ODP Regulation Package published in the Pennsylvania Bulletin on October 5, 2019, represents the most dramatic changes in the past 30 years to our service system. The trainings scheduled for October are structured to help stakeholders understand the major changes and how they impact the system. More trainings are in development on specific topics and requirements contained in the ODP Regulatory Package. ODP will send updates to this announcement as new trainings pertaining to the ODP Regulatory Package are offered.

Along with this communication, there are flyers advertising the various trainings available. Please see any attachment accompanying this announcement for specific details.

Please take advantage of the opportunity to join one of the live webinars listed below. Registration is limited to 500 people, so they ask that groups of people call in together when possible. The sessions will be recorded, so that a session for each topic is available on MyODP for those who are unable to take part in the live session.

HOW TO ACCESS THE ODP REGULATORY PACKAGE TRAININGS:

ODP uses GoTo Webinar for its live webcasts.

Each scheduled training will have its own unique registration link. You must pre-register for each session that you plan to attend by clicking the linked title of the training. Once you preregister, you will receive an email with instructions to participate, including a new link to join the meeting. It is recommended that you register in advance to ensure you receive the meeting reminder.

Please note: A computer is not required to call into the webinar by phone. A computer is required if you wish to see the PowerPoint presentation during the webinar or use the chat feature to ask questions.
