Southwestern PA HCQU: One Size Does Not Fit All: Sex Ed for People With Intellectual Disabilities and Autism (ID/A)

Upon Completion of this webinar Participants will be able to:

  • List three ways in which people with disabilities are treated differently in regard to sexuality, sexual health education, and sexual decision-making.
  • Recall two ways relationships and sexual health education lessons can be adapted to meet the needs of the learner.

HOW TO REGISTER

  • Click on the “Training” tab at the top of page
  • Create a user account on the new Training Site or Sign-In to existing account
  • Click on “Instructor-led Training Registration” in the header bar
  • In the left-hand column, click on “Registration”
  • Select training taking place on 12.11.2023 and click on “Register”

Acentra Health Southwestern PA Health Care Quality Unit

The Acentra Health HCQU is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. The Acentra Health HCQU maintains responsibility for this program and its content. Documentation for continuing education credits will only be awarded to those who attend the training in its entirety and complete the necessary paperwork. Attendees are responsible for submitting documentation to their respective agencies. Instructional methods utilized in this traininginclude informational literature, audience participation, and a question-and-answer session with the presenter.
