ASERT has compiled resources for those with autism and those who care for people with autism relating to the current COVID-19 outbreak.
Online Recycling in the Garden Workshop - 8 May 2021
In this online workshop, Toni “The Veggie Lady” Salter will show you a variety of ways to turn your unwanted household items and kitchen waste into goodies for your garden.
Topics to be covered include:
- Making potting mixes from compost
- Creating seedling pots from scrap paper
- Transforming drink bottles into watering cans, garden pots and hanging gardens
- Making plant labels, tin planters, bird baths and bird feeders from waste materials
- Turning old pallets into vertical gardens
Participants will also be invited to share their own upcycling ideas with the group.
