2025 Pennsylvania Migrant Education Program Conference

Hosted by the Center for Schools and Communities, in coordination with the Division of Student Services at the Pennsylvania Department of Education

2025 Pennsylvania MEP Conference is a conference for Pennsylvania educators and practitioners working with migrant students to engage in professional practices of knowledge sharing, discussion, critical analysis, and re-visioning of educational policies and practices to advance the quality of educational experiences for migrant education and English learner students and families.

The conference will provide new practices, perspectives, and connections, and attendees will increase their knowledge of literacy development, learn skills to help students in diverse circumstances succeed academically and learn ways to improve service delivery. There is no cost to attend.

Who should attend?

  • Pennsylvania educators working in school districts, charter schools, career and technology centers, intermediate units, private schools, and non-public schools.
  • LEA administrators.
  • Community organizations and agency staff working with English learners and/or migrant students and their families.
  • Parents and other English Language Development (ELD) stakeholders.
  • Migrant education program staff.

The conference is sponsored by the Pennsylvania Department of Education and held in collaboration with Center for Schools and Communities.
