PA Pathways to Partnership: What is UDL? Supporting Learning, Independence, and Transition at Home
Hosted by PA Pathways to Partnership.
This introductory online session explores the core principles of Universal Design for Learning and how families can apply them in everyday life. Participants will learn practical ways to support learner variability, foster independence, and build skills that prepare students for successful transitions to adulthood and employment.

Dr. Amanda Bastoni is the Senior Director of Workforce and Higher Education Implementation at CAST and a nationally recognized researcher, educator, and professional learning leader. With more than 20 years of experience in career and technical education, adult education, workforce development, and Universal Design for Learning (UDL), she leads national initiatives focused on increasing access to education
This training is funded through the Pathways to Partnership (P2P) Grant, a Disability Innovation Fund grant awarded to the Pennsylvania Office of Vocational Rehabilitation. To participate, the student must either have an active OVR case (confirmed by OVR) or a completed OVR-244 Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre- ETS) Request Form must be submitted.
