PCHC: Community Safety

The training will discuss the meaning of community inclusion, highlighting the importance of practicing community safety strategies. Participants will be able to apply methods to decrease personal safety concerns, learn about setting personal boundaries, as well as, social media and cybersecurity safety risks.

The goal of the training is to help all individuals with an intellectual disability and autism to live their everyday lives safely in the community. This session is designed for individuals with ID and/or Autism, their Families and Support Staff.

Philadelphia Coordinated Healthcare’s mission is to enhance access to community physical and mental health care through education, public health outreach, advocacy and empowerment as well as to improve health care outcomes for individuals with an Intellectual Disability (ID) and/or Autism.
