PEAL Center: Disability Protections in Pennsylvania

The Disability Protections in PA training details the legal rights of individuals with disabilities. It focuses on ensuring equal access across employment, housing, education, and public spaces by clarifying the obligations of providers to engage in the “interactive process” and provide necessary modifications.

The PEAL Center is a one-stop-resource for disability information and referral in Pennsylvania for parents, self-advocates and professionals. PEAL provides assistance to families of children with disabilities, educators, and others who work with them. PEAL’s primary intent is to help families help their children and provide the tools they need to become lifelong advocates for their children and themselves.
