Philadelphia Bilingual Disability Resource Fairs
This event is hosted by Pennsylvania Assistive Technology Foundation, the City of Philadelphia, Office of Community Empowerment and Opportunity, and Esperanza Health Center
***A representative from ASERT will be at the Oct. 9th Session***
Local organizations recognize that Latino communities face barriers to accessing available programs, services, and resources for people with disabilities. This event was created for parents, caregivers, and individuals with disabilities and older adults to spend the day meeting disability professionals, agencies, service providers, and nonprofits to find assistance and get access to resources they may not know existed. There will be games and activities for children and free health screenings.
Day One: Friday, Oct. 9th
- 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
- The CORE at Esperanza Health Center, 3222 H Street in North Philadelphia
Day Two: Saturday, Oct. 10th
- 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
- G.W. Childs Elementary School, 1599 Wharton Street in South Philadelphia
