Protecting Skin & Preventing Skin Injury- April 27, 2021 10:00 am – 11:30 am
This presentation will provide an overview of the skin and changes that may occur with illness, injury, and aging. Information will be shared about who is at risk for skin injury; what causes the injury; and complications. Knowing that these injuries can disrupt normal activities and greatly impact a person’s quality of life, preventive strategies will be emphasized.
