The Family Resource Center at Pennsylvania School for the Deaf is hosting their second annual (free) family conference: “Thrive! Supporting Self-Advocacy and Self-Determination in Deaf and Hard of Hearing Children.”
They will have presenters from the National Association of the Deaf, National Deaf Center, Office of Vocational Rehabilitation, and Clerc Center/Gallaudet University!
A light breakfast and refreshments are included with conference admission, and a box lunch is available for purchase. Please note: Box lunch must be purchased in advance as part of your conference registration. Lunch will not be available for purchase the day of the conference. *Box lunch will only be available for purchase until April 14, 2023*
The children’s program is designed for deaf and hard of hearing children and their siblings, ages 5 to 12.
Infants/lap children are welcome during the family conference, but they’ll have to stay with the family member during the conference
Please join us for the free Transition and Resource Fair, also at PSD, immediately following the conference!
