Kennedy Krieger Institute’s Center for Autism Services, Science, and Innovation (CASSI) is pleased to announce the return of their FREE World Autism Month Miniseries. Each Thursday throughout the month of April, a new virtual session will be released at 12 noon (EST). 

Event participants will hear from parents, self-advocates, educators, clinicians, and other experts in the autism field. These events cater to a diverse audience including autistics, family members, educators, and professionals.

This year’s sessions will provide attendees invaluable and up-to-date insights to better support neurodivergent people.

  • Session 1: Importance of Supporting Autistic Individuals’ Strengths
  • Session 2: Exploring Autism Advocacy: A Panel Discussion
  • Session 3: Unpacking the Concept of Reinforcement: Potential uses for skill development
  • Session 4: Considerations for the Identification and Treatment of Autism Spectrum Disorder in Children with Vision Impairment

All four sessions are included with your free registration and will be available for on-demand viewing, after each presentation’s initial launch date, until July 20, 2025.

The Center for Autism Services, Science and Innovation (CASSI™) at Kennedy Krieger Institute is a multifaceted, interdisciplinary program serving children, families and professionals in the autism community. The center combines clinical services, research and training programs to unlock the potential autistic children and teens, enrich their life experiences, empower parents and promote the well-being of families through evidence-based practices.
