Kennedy Krieger Institute’s Center for Autism Services, Science and Innovation: Free World Autism Month Miniseries

Kennedy Krieger Institute’s Center for Autism Services, Science and Innovation (CASSI™, formerly known as the Center for Autism and Related Disorders, or CARD) is pleased to host a free World Autism Month Miniseries. Each Thursday throughout the month of April, a new virtual session will be released at 12 noon (EST).

This year’s sessions will provide attendees invaluable and up-to-date insights to better support neurodivergent people.

  • Session 1: The State of Education for Autistic Students: A Community Conversation
  • Session 2: Experiences with Adult-Life Planning for Autistic Individuals
  • Session 3: Making Sense of Sensory Processing
  • Session 4: Supporting Behavioral and Emotional Regulation in the Context of Neurodiversity Affirming Care

All four sessions are included with your free registration and will be available for on-demand viewing, after each presentation’s initial launch date, until July 23, 2024.

The Center for Autism Services, Science and Innovation (CASSI™) at Kennedy Krieger Institute is a multifaceted, interdisciplinary program serving children, families and professionals in the autism community. The center combines clinical services, research and training programs to unlock the potential autistic children and teens, enrich their life experiences, empower parents and promote the well-being of families through evidence-based practices.
