Overview

This resource provides a visual guide for individuals with autism about getting a haircut during the COVID-19 pandemic. An animated version of the social story is also included. This resource has also been translated into Spanish, Arabic, Russian, and Chinese.

There are new rules I need to follow when I get a haircut.

First, I have to make an appointment with my hair dresser or barber.

I have to wear a mask when I get my hair cut.

My barber or hair dresser also has to wear a mask when they cut my hair.

After my haircut, I need to wash my hands.
