Work Ready Philadelphia

WorkReady Philadelphia isn’t really a program. It’s actually a collection of programs… and all of them are designed to help the city of Philadelphia’s young people get work experience and exposure to opportunities that will help them both now and in the future.

Summer Programs
WorkReady summer programs are paid, six-week experiences that give young people, ages 14 to 21, the opportunity to learn and earn in corporate or community-based settings. There are several different kinds of programs, including internships, academically focused, and service learning experiences.
Programs for Out-of-School Youth
There are also WorkReady programs for youth who have dropped out of school and are looking to get reconnected to education, training, and work experience.
