PAAutism tracks two types of groups: Support Groups and Social Groups. Support groups meet regularly to talk about life on the autism spectrum. Social groups are designed for people on the autism spectrum to meet with one another and share hobbies, interests and engage in social activity. View Social GroupTeam Friends is for ambulatory adults with intellectual disabilities who have graduated high school, their parents, family and their mentoring typical friends. Through a monthly activity with a learning and/or philanthropic community service component, these life skills and public service projects create a bond for those with ID. For parents, family and friends, in addition to enjoying a memorable event, time is spent discussing with one other issues facing the family unit. Informational sessions with speakers and discussion forums are also planned for the family throughout the year.

The program is open to any individual aged 10-21 with a disability. The Penguin Project is free to all participants but will have limited enrollment spots. They serve individuals from any area as long as they are willing to travel. This program would be most attractive to students in Allegheny County, Westmoreland County, and Washington County given the location. However, they welcome students from any area.

They work with adult artists with intellectual or developmental disabilities to make, exhibit, and sell their work. Their weekly art classes, workshops, and exhibit opportunities help promote our artists while connecting them with a larger community of artists.

The therapeutic programs are designed to develop seven categories of life skills necessary for success. These programs are open to all individuals living with Autism Spectrum Disorder. View Social GroupTeam Friends is for ambulatory adults with intellectual disabilities who have graduated high school, their parents, family and their mentoring typical friends. Through a monthly activity with a learning and/or philanthropic community service component, these life skills and public service projects create a bond for those with ID. For parents, family and friends, in addition to enjoying a memorable event, time is spent discussing with one other issues facing the family unit. Informational sessions with speakers and discussion forums are also planned for the family throughout the year.

The program is open to any individual aged 10-21 with a disability. The Penguin Project is free to all participants but will have limited enrollment spots. They serve individuals from any area as long as they are willing to travel. This program would be most attractive to students in Allegheny County, Westmoreland County, and Washington County given the location. However, they welcome students from any area.
