Hosted by Temple University
Social Xchanges is a recreation program for students with social and communication challenges. Each week the group gathers to discuss some social learning issue such as making friends, dealing with professors, or coping with uncomfortable feelings, followed by a recreational activity.
The goal of the group is to share social and academic challenges and successes, and most importantly, to have fun. Past activities include bowling, visiting museums, going for dinner in Center City, attending a jazz concert, and playing table games. Attending the group is a wonderful way to make new friends and feel connected to the Temple University community.
If you are interested in joining the group, please email Michael Hanowitz or call him at (215)-588-5629 to get more information and to arrange a screening interview.
