Autism Urban Connections Inc.

They began as Autism Urban Connections Support Group in January of 2015., after discovering the lack of supports, education, and resources available in the African American, minority, and economically disadvantaged communities.

They are now Autism Urban Connections Inc., since September 2018, the first and only African American, minority, family focused Autism 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Organization in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Their mission is to provide education, support, advocacy and empowerment, with an emphasis on self-care to families of those diagnosed with Autism,

Their vision is that all families receive the individualized supports and education to access valuable resources and services that enhance the quality of life, that will break down barriers, while addressing the disparities in our most marginalized communities.
