Autism Society of Northeastern PA: Belonging and Empowerment for Autistic Members (B.E.A.M)

BEAM is a monthly peer-led support group for autistic adults seeking honest conversation, shared understanding, and real connection. Facilitated by Matt Smith, an autistic adult and advocate, the group offers a welcoming, low-pressure space to talk about life’s challenges and joys—without the need to mask or explain yourself.

Each session features open discussion and occasional guest speakers covering topics chosen by the group, such as relationships, employment, accessing services, social boundaries, and self-advocacy. Whether you’re there to speak, listen, or just be among others who “get it,” this is your space.

This group meets via Zoom. Details for meeting dates and times are determined after signup. This group is FREE but still requires registration.
