Hosted by Disability Empowerment Center (DEC).
At the Disability Empowerment Center, a person with a disability can connect with other persons with similar disability experiences, to assist them in reaching their Independent Living goal.
The objective is to explore options and to solve problems that sometimes occur for people with disabilities, for example, adjusting to living with a newly acquired disability, experiencing changes in living arrangements, or learning to use community services more effectively.
This group meets on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 11 am. Meetings occur at the DEC Lancaster location.
To attend or for more information, email Jackie at jnagle@decpa.org.
Disability Empowerment Center (DEC) provides free and confidential services that prioritize self-determination, consumer control, and personal choice to individuals of all ages, and with all types of disabilities.
