Saint Joseph's University Kinney Center: Sibshops

Hosted by the Saint Joseph’s University Kinney Center for Autism Education and Support (SJU Kinney Center).

The Kinney Center’s SibShop program runs concurrently during Family Night Out and offers brothers and sisters of individuals with ASD to obtain peer support and education through a recreational and therapeutic context.

SibShop provides siblings with the opportunity to meet other kids and teens who may share some of the same experiences while participating in therapeutic games, activities, and discussions that focus on what it’s like to have a brother or sister with ASD.

Siblings will participate in a 1-hour SibShop session and then rejoin the fun at Family Night Out. Snack will be provided for SibShop participants.

*There is a fee associated with participating in these groups.*

SibShop Schedule

• 5-6 pm: 5-8 year olds
• 6-7 pm: 9-13 year olds
• 7-8 pm: 14-18 year olds

The Kinney Center for Autism Education and Support is a community-facing organization that provides support for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
