Au-Parents Need[.] is a virtual parent support group for parents/caregivers of autistic individuals (regardless of residence). “Au” parents (caregivers of people on the autism spectrum) can join and feel supported, regardless of their residence in the world.
The group functions under the auspices of The Maurice Rush Foundation and are held Wednesday nights at 9 p.m. EST, from the comfort of your home.
Groups are therapeutic in nature and welcome an array of topics to be discussed, as well as various professional speakers for meaningful conversations that yield learning to both the parent AND speaker.
The Maurice Rush Foundation (MRF) is an organization that represents, uplifts, and encourages those connected to Autism. They are dedicated to providing support and offering education to individuals, families, and communities dealing with this life-changing diagnosis. MRF’s purpose is to help those connected to Autism to know they are not alone.
