National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), Berks County: LGBTQ+ Connection Recovery Support Group
Hosted by the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI): Berks County
NAMI Connection is a peer recovery support group for LGBTQ+ individuals 18 and over who experience mental health conditions that offers respect, understanding, encouragement, and hope. NAMI Connection groups are:
- Free
- Held 1st and 3rd Tuesdays for 90 minutes
- Designed to connect, encourage, and support LGBTQ+ participants
- Led by trained LGBTQ+ facilitators living in recovery themselves
- For adults 18 and over
- An RSVP is not required.
Locations:
- Meets the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays, 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm at NAMI-Berks Office: 640 Walnut Street – 2nd Floor, Reading, PA 19601.
NAMI Berks County is an affiliate of NAMI PA. NAMI Berks County and dedicated volunteers, members, and leaders work tirelessly to raise awareness and provide essential education, advocacy, and support group programs for people in the community living with mental illness and their loved ones.
