Pocono Autism Society
Pocono Autism Society is a non-profit support organization for families and professionals involved with Autism/Pervasive Developmental Disorders. They advocate for the general welfare of persons with autism and foster dialogue between parents and professionals to enhance diagnosis, therapy, education, and recreation of persons with autism. They also promote public awareness of the problems of persons with autism.
Meetings: Pocono Autism Society has monthly daytime meetings scheduled for 9:30 am, on the 4th Wednesday of the month at the Hughes Library, 1002 North Ninth St Stroudsburg. They meet during the months when school is in session, Sept-May.
Internet Discussion Groups: Pocono Autism Society has a Facebook group which is a great way to keep in touch.
