This season, SibSessions will follow a three-hour format, from 11 AM to 2 PM. Sessions are offered free of charge and take place at the Barber National Institute on the third Saturday of each month, from September 2015 through May 2016.
The program is offered to siblings, from ages 5 up to their 16th birthday, who have a brother or sister with a developmental disability. New this year will be swimming in the Barber National Institute Pool (please bring bathing suit and towel) and also sharing a light lunch. Sibs will now have extra time to enjoy a variety of games and make a seasonal craft. Most importantly, SibSessions will provide a comfortable setting for sharing and learning about the ups and downs of being a brother or sister to a sibling with disabilities. For additional questions, please contact the FSS office.
